It is well known that throughout the entire process from the initial design to the formal construction of the medical clean board engineering operating room, every detail has rather strict and high-level requirements. This is mainly because during its operation, every tiny detail may be related to the physical health and safety of all medical staff and patients. Of course, even in the clean operating rooms of medical clean engineering companies, there are no exceptions to the walls and floors.

Leveling the clean board wall surface

The plastering and leveling are carried out based on the reference points of the wall surface. Compared with the ordinary base plastering, the process of watering and moistening the wall is reduced. A certain proportion of binder is added to the mortar. As long as the dust and debris on the wall surface are cleaned up, the construction can be carried out.

Divide and line the walls

According to the detailed drawing of the panel division, mark out the division lines, leaving horizontal and vertical gaps between the clean boards, ensuring that the lines on the base wall are clear, horizontal and vertical.

Based on the actual dimensions of the on-site compartments, provide the specific cutting dimensions of the clean board. The cutting of clean boards can be carried out by professional personnel in the factory or on the construction site.

Apply glue to the board surface (stick adhesive strips)

1. Clean the stains and dust on the bonding surface of the clean board to ensure there are no oil stains, water stains or dust.

2. Apply at least two coats of silicone waterproofing agent to the cross-section of the decorative board with a brush.

3. After the silicone waterproofing agent has dried on the surface, stick PE double-sided tape around the back of the clean board, and add two more PE double-sided tapes in the middle of the short side to ensure the firmness of the bond.

4. After applying the double-sided tape, evenly spread the building structure adhesive on the middle part of the back of the clean board by the dot bonding method. The thickness of the building structure adhesive should exceed that of the PE double-sided adhesive tape, generally not less than 6mm.

Stick the clean board

1. The installation of clean boards should be carried out from bottom to top, with the positive corners first and then the negative corners, and they should be pasted in sequence.

2. Remove the film on the other side of the double-sided tape, and stick the clean board onto the wall according to the positions of the division lines. Generally, the construction is carried out by pressing the lines, and the flatness should be controlled within 2mm (checked with a 2-meter straightedge).

3. Temporarily fix the two clean boards with wooden keels (small pieces of 9mm boards or strips) between them to ensure that the board surfaces are fully adhered to the wall. Remove them after the building structural adhesive has cured.

Comprehensive Inspection of Clean Boards

After each section of installation is completed, the overall flatness, verticality, size and uniformity of the board joints of the clean board surface should be inspected. If necessary, appropriate adjustments should be made. Only after achieving satisfactory results can the next step of installation be carried out.

Board Joint Treatment

1. After all the clean boards have been pasted, the overall quality and effect of the construction should be rechecked. If necessary, appropriate adjustments should be made. After achieving a satisfactory result, the wooden keel (9mm board) used for temporary fixation should be removed.

2. According to the size of the board joints, select appropriate jointing strips and fill the joints firmly.

3. According to the requirements of the division width, stick masking tape (paper tape) along the seams of the board to prevent contamination of the board surface. Then, apply at least two coats of silicone waterproofing agent on the cross-section of the decorative board with a brush.

4. After the silicone waterproofing agent has dried on the surface, use a sealant gun to evenly and appropriately apply sealant in the board joints. Then, use a flat scraper to smooth out the sealant. The thickness of the sealant on the board should be 0.5 to 1mm. After the adhesive is applied, just pull off the paper tape.

Clean the board surface

First, clean the dust and dirt on the edges of the clean board, and then remove the protective film. When cleaning the dirt on the surface of the clean board, extra care must be taken. Do not scrub vigorously or scrape with sharp tools such as blades. Only solvents and water can be used for cleaning.

After the construction of the clean board is completed, the construction site should be cleaned up after the joint sealant has cured. All the remaining materials should be recycled and stored separately.
